Interesting situation today. I've done a bit more refinement in the emergency notification app I posted about earlier.

It's installed to the startup directory and runs minimized on boot. When activated from any computer in the system it immediately activates on every computer in the place and displays the screen shown with a loud klaxon. It also sends an email to HQ that an emergency has been declared at our facility and another on "All Clear". This continues until the "all clear" button is clicked or pressed.

So, I was running a test for a few computers in my staff area this AM. Once completed, I left to return to my office in the building next door and noticed a crew at the muster point across the street,

Seems someone had installed the app in the classroom and it went off big time on the projector and speakers. But wait, there's more. Our Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment just happened to be in there on one of his occasional visits. He was blown away and loved it...

Thank the bitstream it worked!
