Hi,

This is my first post to this forum.

My question is:

I already know that we can embed flash files but I would like to click in my flash files and go to any Opus internal page...is it that possible?

Thank you for your enquiry.

It is not currently possible for Flash movies to pass parameters to Opus publications in this way. The only way I can think this would work would be for the Flash file to store the selected menu item to an external text file. You could then set up a looped Read from Disk File action in Opus to constantly monitor the contents of this text file.

As soon as the Flash file adds some information to the text file, Opus will retrieve this information and store it to a variable of your choice. You could then set up a series of If statements to check the value of this variable and trigger the corresponding action.

However, I think it would be much easier to recreate the Flash menus using Opus as this would allow you to apply the required Go To Page actions directly to the relevant buttons.
