I'm learning Tweens. First 2 questions:

1: I've got the tween, and the object in it. I select the object, and make a keyframe.

I want to scale the object uniformly.

If I hold the corner of the object and scale with Alt held down, it still isn't uniform - I can only do this by eye.

Within the tween, how do I scale it uniformly, or, better still, type in a percent scale?

2: If I create a Tween in a layer, how do I move it to another layer (if I drag it, the mouse icon always remains as a circle with a line through it - NO)

Many thanks, Linda

Interesting stuff. I am only beginning to play with these again.

As to your 2nd question, moving a Tween object in the Organizer Tree from layer to layer... I played with this a bit.
Two observations:
1. It seems that if the Page did not have Layers before the Tween object was created, then you cannot move that tween out of the Layer.
2. #1 may be 'wrong'. It seems that only Layer 1 is the problem. No matter what its order is in the Tree, Layer 1 prevents the drag/move to another Layer, but Layer 2 does allow it.

As a workaround, you can copy & paste it into a different Layer however.

For scaling the object uniformly (while working in the Opus Editor)
It works for me... sort-of.
When I hold down Alt key and drag a Vector object's corner, I get scaling that keeps aspect. This works for me on 2 out of 4 corners (sometimes, for 3 of 4 corners). Figure that.
So I'd say this operation is "quirky".

* I need to hold down Alt key, and wait until the small aspect or proportional symbol appears near the corner node of the object (mouseover). Then I click and drag the node.
* For objects inside the tween, this is pretty smooth. But for the Tween object itself, scaling jumps sometimes, and tween obj scaling may be constrained to Page limits and to size large enough to contain its objects. (Ctrl key can override).
* I may have to get off my wireless keyboard for some of this type of work.

I am on OpusPro v7.06
