Over the years of using OPUS, I have had a problem when I create hyperlinks in a Text Object. If I had multiple lines of text, and tried to create multiple hyperlinks, occasionally the hyperlink Action would end up on the OBJECT instead of on the highlighted text. I kept wondering why OPUS was doing that.

It took YEARS of doing this WRONG for me to finally see my own error, so I am mentioning this to the Forum, in case anyone else has had this "problem" without knowing the error of THEIR way: When you highlight text, then do a right mouse click to access the "Create Hyperlink" option, you MUST have your mouse cursor directly on the highlighted text. While the text maybe highlighted, if the mouse cursor is anywhere but directly on the text you want to link, OPUS will think you want to create a hyperlink for the entire Text Object, not just the text.

Yes, the solution is simple (and obvious) once you recognize what you've been doing wrong (all these years). I'm sorry OPUS for thinking this was your problem. Since practicing the correct procedure, I have never had an incorrect hyperlink.
