Hi,
I am using a page variable with the persistent option ticked, a button and a hidden object.
When I click the button I change the value of the variable to show the hidden object and then go to another page in the same publication and back after 2 seconds. I thought the object won't get hidden again when I move back to the first page because the variable is persistent and if I change its value to show the object, even if I move to another page, the changed value should keep the object showing when I move back. Is that right?

Not enough information given to help with a solution.

A little thing such as the kind of triggers being used -- would help clarify what is going on. If your button-click that changes the variable is the only (??) trigger, then when you leave and return to the Page there is nothing to change that other object from its default state (ie, Hidden).

Sorry for the lack of info.

I attach an example to show what I want to achieve.
My generic question is how to keep visible any object that is first hidden and then visible, after moving to another page and back to the first page. Usually when you change pages, objects that where originally hidden will be hidden again, even if you make them visible.
I thought that a persistent variable will keep the object visible, but it doesn't work.
Maybe I need some script for that... I don't know.

Nothing so complex.

Object Properties > General Tab > Options -- Restore State and Position needs to be selected.

Hi Mack,

I can't see that option in Opus v7 (Object Properties > General Tab > Options -- Restore State and Position)
Is it on v8?
I need multiframes (initially hiden) to be on show before and after going to another page (and back).
??
