I think you're right, Mallette.
I just tried to create a Flash with a YouTube-link, and I got the same error :(
Better inform support about it.

I've had no luck getting any suggestions. Appreciate knowing it isn't just me...

Let's try this:

True or False?

"YouTube embedding
You can now embed YouTube video in your publication (including Flash publications) allowing
you access to the wide range of e-learning and other resources provided via YouTube.
You can set the video to display with the familiar YouTube controls or use the Opus video
actions to control the file."

That's from the last release new features PDF. Has ANYONE found this to work in Flash?

No point in recompiling, as this is what I tested last week. On compile it delivers the error I uploaded the image of regarding only SWF and GIF being supported in Flash and does nothing when tested.

As Google have deprecated the AS2 APIs at the end of 2012, for YouTube, wouldn't that mean that Opus Flex can no longer load them?

We've updated the YouTube support in both Creator and Pro. The new 8.11 version will be officially announced shortly but is already available from the service release section of the website if you need it urgently.
