Hi Forum

Is it possible to create a standard menu in opus pro, what I mean by standard dropdown menu is like the standard windows app menu bar like the one on the browser you are look at. i.e. File , Edit, View etc.

I have been able to find a menu control of this type within the program.

Thanks

Absolutely! There are several ways to create what you want. Create Hot Spots over each menu item, then create a Text Object for the drop down, and set it for Initially Hidden. Have an Action in your new Hot Spot which Shows the Text Object when you roll over it, and Hides when you roll off. You have to repeat for each menu item.

Ok, now go to the User Control panel in this forum, on the left click Profile. Fill out the questions.

Robert,

You may find some useful examples in this previous post. I did not 'drill down' and examine the examples, so cannot say which if any will fit your needs.

Depending on the look and feel you want, you may be able to make a set of listbox objects work for you -- much like Fred suggested with mouseover or other trigger and then show/hide (with or without transition effects -- slide down). If you do use a listbox, you can modify that object to not have a scrollbar (work over in the Organizer Tree and simply select and delete that scrollbar which is a set of child objects).
