Hi All,

I've been using Opus for a few days now and I'm quite impressed on the simplicity of the software, and how user friendly it is. However I'm having some difficulties understanding how to carry out particular "features/actions" on images. I'll try explain as best as possible and include screenshots.

I have 4 images which when clicked on a video will appear. When the user has finished watching the video they will have the ability to click the video to "hide" it. The issue I'm having is that I want to create a trigger for when the user has watched all 4 videos that the "Next Page" button will appear.

What I did was create a new variable called *videocount* and then added a trigger to the next button with an "if count" which equals 0.30, then added a show action. On the 4 images I added a "left mouse click" with an add 0.10 to videocount variable (each image has a video show action) but when I test to see if the button appear it does not. But the videos work fine.

All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Seb

Not sure I understand the second screen shot.

Is that button suppose to appear when the four videos have been clicked?

If so, the actions to show the button, should be on the video clicks. IE on each video click, you need to add 0.1 to your counter and then you need to check if that counter = 0.3 and if yes, then show the button.

A couple of tips for new posters:

1. Add a profile - with at least the version of Opus you're using - top right of page - User Control Panel.
2. In each post, specify which publication type you're creating - IE HTML / Flex / Executable
3. Some video tutorials - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 4ucrELVYhq

Hi Mackavi,

Thank you for your reply. The next button is supposed to appear when the user has clicked all 4 images but it doesn't matter in what order, it should appear after clicking at least 3 images.

The second screenshot is showing the actions for the (next button) - But I'm not sure if I did this correctly.

I have added (+0.10) to each image (screenshot 3) and made so that the next button is equal 0.30 so when the user would click 3 images it should equal 0.30 right?
