Hello everyone
I've been asked to make a slide show for a friend and I'm becoming quite frustrated with the way
the slideshow works.

There are over 100 slides and I told the slide show to read them and play from the one bespoke folder.
(Only slides) It plays quite well for about 17 slides and then goes for a cup of tea ( I think).
If I sit and watch it it sometimes comes back on with another slide.

They are all jpgs about the same size ( about 10mb - he's a pro and the BBC have used his pictures )
but some have been cropped by the owner.

I've tried the other way - very tedious - adding 1 file at a time - setting the display time - setting a transition (may be).
Same problem. Any ideas please?

Fairly powerful PC Intel i7 - 2600 - 3.4Ghz - 8Gb RAM
Using installed extra drive 1TB (SATA not USB) - different from my signature below.
I haven't tried compiling it - might make a difference.

Kind regards to all.

Try batch converting the images at different quality levels using something like FSViewer.
