This may help someone one day...

My client sent over some files for last-minute insertion into a multimedia to be handed out at a conference next week.

The files were named thus:

Appendix C - Version 1.02 - 150305.doc

The docs opened fine from Explorer, but my Opus "Launch file" action wouldn't work.

Trial and error eventually turned up the solution, and I was required to replace the dot in 1.02 with an underscore, where it then worked perfectly.
