Using Opus Pro v2.81.

I have set up a password system, two text input boxes, one for username one for password. The system locates the username and password in a database, depending on the username and password, the publication goes to different pages, one for admin another for users.

The database must be used for username and password storage.

The simple problem i have is of a security nature, i cant find a way to mask the password as it is being inputted.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.

With Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

There's a password font on the old ILM forum:

http://www.eccker.org/ilm/home.htm

Go to:

...locate the message: "Password Font"
http://www.illuminatusforum.com/tipsmessages/349.htm

This should help.

Hi both Steves

Would this help?

1. Draw a text input box.
2. When the properties dialogue box appears, select the Text Input Tab.
3. In the Input Type panel you will see 3 options: Multiple line; Single Line; and Password.
4. Close the property dialogue box and preview the page.
5. Anything you enter in this box is masked by an asterisk.

HTH
