I seem to have a problem starting Opus Pro XE 5.
Each time I try, the programme starts, then hangs, and I get the Microsoft "Programme Needs to Close" message.
I've tried the "Control/Alt start" method, and completely uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling, and I've also tried uninstalling all and any previous versions of Opus, and turning hardware acceleration on/off, but to no avail.
This problem has occurred on and off ever since I've had the upgrade, but reinstallation usually fixes it temporarily. Now it just doesn't stay open.
I use virtually identical setups at home and at work - my work machine seems to be OK.
(I sent the Microsoft error report as an attachment to DW, but I'm not sure whether or not it was received).
Has anyone any pointers as to what may be the cause of this, please?
Can't reproduce the problem with other installed software.
