Group objects as Frame does just that - put the items into a normal frame (which was the 04 way of doing groups). When you resize the frame the contents are unchanged (and will block the resize smaller than the contents unless overridden with Ctrl)
What you said is correct. That's how it works. But the help file for Opus Pro 05 doesn' agree. It says:
To Group a selection of objects
1. Select the objects you want to be grouped.
2. Choose the
Group Objects as Frame menu item. This command can be found in the Group popup on the right-click menu for multiple objects and on the Arrange main toolbar menu.
3. The selected objects will be added to a new group object
which can be manipulated and referred to as a single unit.
