I can't seem to draw a vector within the frames of a rollover. When I do, the vector jumps outside of the rollover. I can put text inside, or a button, but not a vector. Thanks in advance for your help and insight.

I can get the vector in there by using copy and paste.

Rollovers by default come with several "states." Default, Mouse Over, Mouse Down, etc. I make the Roller larger than whatever I need to insert (Text Object, Vectors, Images, etc.); then using the Organizer, I highlight the state I want then select the Object to insert. I make sure the Object is definitely inside the frame of the Rollover. It works every time for me.

I'm thinking you are creating a Rollover which is a similar or smaller size than the Object you want to insert for the rollover effect. Try making the Rollover Object larger, and let us know if this solves your problem.

Here's what I'm trying to do:
Select the Rollover Tool and draw a really large rollover on a page.
In the Organizer, highlight the Default state. (The rollover is selected on the page.)
Now select the Vector tool.
Position the mouse well within the confines of the rollover and draw the vector.

Here's what happens: The vector starts inside the Default state in the organizer, but then instantly jumps outside of it. The only way I can get it inside is to highlight the vector, copy it, and paste it into the Default state of the rollover. I can draw a vector on the page, but it doesn't stay contained within the Rollover. I'm missing something.

Thanks.

re: copy and paste...

You should be able to simply right-click on the vector in the organiser, and then drag it into the frame and select "Insert into". :)

It's all about keeping it lean.
