At the end of our training courses we pass round "course evaluation forms" to the delegates to fill in feedback. Up until now they've been paper forms and just been glanced at and filed away. We've been looking for a nicer computerised method so we could do a bit more analysis of them so it was wondered if could have a go at doing something in Opus.
The result is attached. It runs the survey and puts the results in an Access 2000 database.
Slightly a case of "'when you've got a hammer every problem looks like a nail" maybe--there's probably a number of much simpler ways to accomplish the same thing! But I found it was a useful exercise in learning databases in Opus.
We've been trialing it this week and it's gone down well so far. People are happy to use it and actually seem rather less self consicious about giving honest feedback and any criticisms to the computer than handing them on a bit of paper to a human!
