Dear Great Unwashed.

My 'launch web site' buttons, which work fine when published as .exe, don't when published for the web. Two things go wrong, first most of them don't open a new browser (i.e. don't do anything) and second, when one does work (and yes the button actions are the same, being copies of each other with slightly modified URLs) it opens in the same browser.

When using the back button (in IE7) rather than jump back to the previous page it goes to the splash page of my publication. The destination frames are set to 'blank' (changing makes no difference). Launch web page actions are created using 'properties' and the trigger is left click. Odd that some buttons work but most don't. I have multiple web link buttons on most pages so a simple fix would be great!

Clearly I'm screwing up, any ideas?

Are you using Launch Web Page and is the Destination Frame _blank not blank?

Also, as I understand the web publication, it's all in one "thing", so going to another page in the publication is still considered by the browser to be the same "thing", so if you use the Back button it would go back to your splash page because that is the first page of the "thing" if that makes sense. I've tried in a small demo file to do what you are wanting to do without problems, so maybe it has something to do with the above two questions.
