Autorun doesn't work on a Mac. Apparently there used to be an Autostart function but that does not work with OS X, which most users have.

Does anyone know how to package a Flex publication so that it starts elegantly, rather than having to ask the user to open their web browser and search around for an HTML file?

Cheers, Adrian

This is the best I could come up with.

Thanks for that. At least it looks tidy.

Cheers, Adrian

Hi Adrian

When you publish Flex, under the settings>options tab, I believe you can uncheck disable right-click. The resulting .swf file, after publication, if right-clicked, has an option to create a projector, which is an executable version. Not a Mac user, I don't know if the projector file will run on a Mac.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
