I am using Opus Pro 5.5 with all the updates. All I am trying to do is make a simple photo object that fades to another photo when mouse-overed, and fades back to the original when the mouse exits. Basically just a mouse-over button, but no destination link and a simple fade transition between the 2 images.
Sounds so simple, but I can't get it to function.
I have the mouseover photo initially hidden (and above it in layer), and use a mouse-over, show, photo 2 and mouse-exit, hide, photo 2. It works perfectly in preview mode, but when it is published it only shows the photo 2 and doesn't reset back to the main photo on mouse exit. I tried as an alternative to set the photo 2 to only display for 4 seconds when shown - and this worked to return to the main photo, but it refuses to do it twice - just sticks after the first instance...
I have attached a zip file of all the source, .imp & compiled .swf files if anyone is interested in taking a go at it. It has to be something simple? It works as expected in preview mode.
This is the first try at using the Flash capabilities of Opus, but I have been using Illuminatus / Opus regularly since Illuminatus 4.0 to build compiled CD-ROM applications, and love it, but this issue baffles me. Is Flex kind of finicky or am I doing something wrong?
Any help muchly appreciated
