Yes - I agree.
But cant really see much of an alternative.
It seems the likes of Microsoft are forcing our hand anyway?

I havent made the move to vista yet - but it is only a matter of time - I remember Windows 2000 users swearing blind that they would never jump to XP - but it appears that most succumb in the end.

Wonder where I put my AMIGA 2000?

Pete

We just have to go along with the tide we call progress. Things evolve; sometimes we like it, sometimes we don't. But I think that overall, things are improving -- even computers if look at them now compared with 6-7 years ago.

Your Amiga 2000 reference reminded me of a car I purchased in the late 70's.
I really had to own a Cortina MK4 GT and paid over list price for one.
Drove one again recently and compared it with my present vehicle -- things really have improved a lot since then :-)

Now I'm working on a Vista notebook -- I guess it doesn't look too bad after all -- we all adapt to new technology, even if we grumble along the way.

Paul (Harris) - I really loved the Opus Highlights and have one or two projects coming up that will really benefit from these additions.
Will the scripting for this be released as with other demos?

I would like to have a look at how this was put together.

Regards

Pete

Paul

Cant find the folder that you mentioned "samples/new features"
I could only locate a PDF called new features
So I am assuming that it didnt install.

Any idea where I might be able to get it?

Pete

Hi Pete

Assuming you default installed and your primary drive is C:\ you'll find what Paul is talking about here;

C:\Program Files\Opus Pro6\Samples\New Features

Let us know how you go with this

Cheers

Graham

Yes - I did an install to the default location.
But I dont have anything called New Features in my samples folder.
I do have a New Features pdf in the root of my Opus Pro6 folder.

Pete

Hi Pete
This is very strange
When you installed, did you tick all the boxes in the installer?
Maybe there was an unticked box?
Might pay to do a re-install
Cheers
Graham

Did a reinstall - made sure everything was checked - still no joy
Have emailed that Nice Mr Lily to enquire as to the issue.

But thanks to my friends down under and the PDF file that is in the root folder I am making progress.....

Regards

Pete
