Happily, I have just received my early bird release of Opus 6.

Before I install, please let me know if it installs as a completely separate program from Opus XE 5.5?

I have some active client publications going in XE 5.5 and want to maintain them in XE 5.5 for now.

Thanks for any information,
Bill

Opus: Pro 9
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
System: HP Spectre x360 Intel Core i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 16Gb Ram
I am running both versions quite happily side by side.

I am in the middle of a project with XE 5.5, whilst having fun playing with the new features in version 6.

Each version of Opus installs in its own directory.

Today I loaded several copies of pubs of varying complexity made with v5.5. They loaded perfectly with no obvious problems. This time there was no message along the lines of This was made with an earlier version of Opus. Do you want to save a copy? Can I assume that v6 seems happy to regard v5.5 as a kindred spirit

My next move was to go for broke and using v6, open a complex pub made with v281. Received the warning message, so saved the original file. Conversion went fine, but took about 20 minutes. The only issue encountered was the same as when I converted the same pub from 281 to v4 -- text appearance because of the introduction of antialiasing. :)

Thanks very much for the info. I am excited then to proceed with Opus 6. Perhaps with this version, I will finally begin to learn scripting :D

Best,
Bill
