An observation - When working in Opus pro, preview your publication.

While the preview is running, hit Control-Tab to see all the programmes running.

What you see is, obviously, two Opus icons. However, the icon for the preview version is of a much lower quailty than the icon of the programme.

When published, it's different again.

The programme one is far nicer thatn the others!

Hi Linda,

I'd hazard a guess and say that the image is being drawn from two different icon files stored in one of Opus's DLLs. If you got a resource explorer, you could easily find out where.

If you'd prefer a nicer icon, creating them is simple in any of the demo icon packages around. Alternaively, if you have access to photoshop, download a free icon (and cursor) file format XPI and you can then use this to create them. It much more fun this way, as you can find a decent large picture that scales down well to either 32x32 or ratio there of.

All my applications use custom icons, and even the Plexus online version can display them now that IE has caught up, you simply edit a line of code in the html, much like the autorun.ini for custom CD icons.

Check them out at www.interaktiv.co.uk - see IZONES.

You'll need IE7 or FF.

Regards,

Mackavi

Mackavi,

I've got Photoshop, so I'll take a look.

Thanks, Linda
