I would like to be able to have the user type in a colour word like 'orange' and have an orange bouncing ball appear. I have created the bouncing balls and have initially hidden them and used

If (variable=orange) then
Show Vector 18

What kind of trigger do you need? Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Hi zoltana and welcome to the forum,

You can use a range of triggers, from a key press such as 'return' to having the user click a button that runs the script or you could run the script on every key press and as soon as the word orange is finished, the script would run to completion.

Hello Zoltana

Just waiting for delivery of the Saturday morning paper (ahhh - love Saturday mornings!) and I saw your post.

Have created a publication for you using V6 of Opus and it seems to run fine in V5.5 as well.

Note scripting was not used to create this publication but the same effects can be created using scripting.

Anyway, if this is what you are looking for, have a play with this.

Cheers
Graham

Thank you, Graham. That is exactly what I need. I will try it first thing in the morning. Happy Saturday evening!
