Hi

There are several ways to accomplish this. The easiest would be to use the Question Page Wizard in the tools menu. You can select question types, and scoring is already set up and customizable.

Or, you can create your own questions and set up scoring for choices (for example, buttons) using the scoring actions.

Sometimes, you may want to customize further, for example, by using the variables tab under actions, which can set adding or subtracting a specific number for a choice, then save up the scores in a scoring information system variable like SCORE_VALUE.

Information on all of these options can be found in the help guide.

A sample publication in Opus, Golf Quiz, can be opened and viewed as an example.

Hope this helps. :)

Kind Regards,

Hi Des

Welcome to the forum.

I created a simple score demo for you without using the wizard. Wizards are great but they don't readily assist new users to understand the basics of Opus publication creation.

Just remember on this forum, you must sign into the forum to see and download the file.

If you examine the actions attached to the text input object, you'll see that if the respondent answers the question correctly, 1 is added to the users score.

Anyway, have a look at this simple example and if you have any questions, check the help file first or read the manual and then if you still need help, ask away.

Cheers

Graham
