Is there a reason why on right button down, with auto repeat enabled doesn't work?

This works fine for a left mouse down but not for right. I've tried with several different mice but to no avail. I'd had this problem in a previous publication, but was able to use and up and down arrow instead but this publication really needs just the one button and the up and down value control via a left / right down action.

Any ideas,

Mack

Mack --

You are right. I successfully created a LEFT Mouse Down which will Auto Repeat if so selected in the Properties options, but a RIGHT Mouse Down will not auto repeat.

I believe you can do a work around using Script. You'll have to check for the status (butStatus) of your Button. True is down while False is up. It's probably easy for a Script guru (which I'm not). I am sure it can be done.

Cheers,

that's a great idea. At the moment the buttons are actually textboxes, but if I can get buttons with the same appearance, then this is a great workaround.

Mack.
