Didn't have this problem with the EB release, but now get this error on install (with then fails). It's a clean install of Vista, lots of space but the path in the screen shot seems rather odd. Any ideas?

Mack

Sorry Mack, I can't read the text in your screen shot.

Sentosa

If you click on the screen grab image, your system may connect and show the image in full as mine does.

I'll email the image to you privately for you to read what it says. You might know what the problem is.

I don't have Vista so cannot assist unfortunately and anyway, I don't understand the error message Mack so am pretty useless in that regard also.

Hope you find a solution

Regards

Graham

I came across this problem in XP Pro a few months back. I can't remember what I did to fix it, but I recall either a google search, or more likely, a search through the MS Knowledge Base.

Good luck :D

Cheers chaps,

I'll try googling at the weekend. Vista is currently on duel boot. Just testing to see what issue might arise.

Mack

This is a bug with the version of IE7 that ships with Vista - the error was seen during the IE7 beta but the release version for XP works fine. Unfortunately the Vista version is still wrong.

To fix it you need to re-register occache.dll before attempting to install the program. Do this after starting up, before opening any IE windows. If you are using Vista you will need to be logged on as an Administrator. Note that if you get an error message you may need to do this in Safe Mode

Go to Start -> Run and type in
Code:
regsvr32 occache.dll

and hit OK. Then re-run the installer.
