Hi! I'm creating a game for a school project but I don't know how to create barriers so that my character doesnt walk outside of the page. I've tried a lot of actions and the most successful one was when a hotspot encouters my character, the character will bounce back so it doesn't pass but then sometimes when I press it a lot of times it starts flying to the otherside of the page =/ Is there a better and simple way since I don't know to script and stuff. Please help me! :x  I'm using Opus Pro 5.5

EDIT: just an example of my game. I don't know how to make it so my character doesn't pass the blue hotspots.

Welcome to the forum.

Would it be possible to attach an example of what you are trying to do? That might produce suggestions that are more relevant to your challenge.

I assume you are looking for 'collision detection' and would recommend you have a look in the Tutorial section of the forum at the post titled 'Bouncing Ball - Part 1'. This shows how to detect that an object has reached a pre-set 'edge' and reverses its direction.

thanks for the suggestions. My game is very basic though, I'm just using keyboard controls and I'm trying to not use scripting
