No Customer will accept a Vista restriction for a new product.
That statement is not quite correct. I have many customers who have tried my XP pubs on their Vista machines, and after finding that they worked without any issues, were happy to buy the full version, knowing that I would not enter into Vista-related issues. I will support problems that I have caused, regardless of what OS they run on.

So I think it is urgent to solve these problems rather than to think of telling customers that they will get no support on Vista machines.
I could not agree more. However, look briefly at reality. As end users we exert a small degree of influence over DW, and absolutely none over MS. Look back over previous issues that arose in earlier versions of Windows and Opus. Admittedly, my experience with Windows goes back only to v3, and with Opus to v2006.
However, every version of those programs has died with unresolved issues which have continued to show up in subsequent releases.
I'm sure that the same applies to most well-established applications. That being the case, I hope we might see some fixes in Vista because it is really what controls things, but I'm not holding my breath,

I think everyone can handle this like he or she likes.
Again, you are so right in what you say. I've chosen a way with which I am comfortable.
I wish you all the best in your efforts to bring MS round to your way of thinking.
