I've created a large 500 mb publication, and in preview mode everything works fine. When I publish the package, (even with all compression options disabled) the copy to clipboard option fails to work. Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Paul

Paul

To set the scene for us, can you comment on these issues:

1. Are you trying to copy the whole of the 500MB to the clipboard?

2. If not, what is the size of the copied element?

I'm trying to create option to copy images to clipboardso people can copy and paste images into their own work. None of images are above 800 by 600 pixels so are around 120kb per object.

I don't know whether this comment might help you, but here goes.

When I've copied large objects to the clipboard, I have on occasion received a message suggesting that I need to empty the clipboard. Might that influence what you are doing?

It's so long since I've used the standard Windows clipboard that I can't remember if overloading is a problem. :)

On occasion I use 3rd-party clipboard managers, it it could well be that these messages arise from these utilities. I currently use the Spartan Multi Clipboard, that hasn't had these problems.

The clipboard is not overloaded and still contains previous image - it's just stopped working with compiled version of software

Paul --

I created a new Page and a Button Object. Under my Left Mouse Click Trigger I have "Clipboard" which when highlighted has four obtions:

* Copy Object to Clipboard, which will copy a single Object on the Page;

* Copy Current Page to Clipboard, which copies the entire Page;

* Copy Variable to Clipbaord, which copies a System or User created Variable to the clipboard; and

* Copy Clipboard Text to Variable.

Please give us details regarding which of these you are trying to use. The more details, the better the chance someone will be able to help you.
