Is it possible to direct the file browse object to a directory and sub-directory
like System publication directory /images

Hi OpusLover,

To specify a default location for the file browse to open to, simply include this in the variable that the file browse stores the path in. EG:

If you File Browse stores the users path in myDir then when you create the myDir variable use:

myDir = SYSTEM_WIN_DIR in the default text section.

Seems that Opus is be pedantic as this method doesn't work for me now. Guess I must have done something else that caused this. Anyway, you can get it to work by setting the variable in a script. See attached.

Hi,

I have used the method that Mackavi suggests and when you first use it works a treat but if you use it again it defaults to what is I think your last used directory. Is it just me?

Hi Clive,

If you use it - then it will store the value of the path in the variable - hence the next time you use it, it will have this value instead of the value you initialy set.

Assumable you need to know this value for some reason, however, you could at a script action before you launch the file browse that sets / resets the path to your defualt location. I've not tested this but it should work OK.
