I know some of you use FlashPaper in your browser object windows. I've found an alternative called Print2Flash(.com)
It has the advantage of being able to remove the buttons, like print, save etc in the paid version.There is a reduced function free version as well.

Thanks for that. I use FlashPaper quite a bit but the option to customise the buttons and permissions here look better.

(You can do that in FlashPaper, too, but I believe you need a full copy of Flash in order to accomplish it. This looks a far cheaper and simpler option).

Having played with Print2Flash, this afternoon, I'm less enthusiastic. The files it produces are consistently much larger than those produced by FlashPaper. This matters in web documents.

Document 1 (2 A4 Pages of large type, no images):

FlashPaper 68.1 kb
Print2Flash 91.7 kb

Document 2 (5 A6 Pages, colour background, 1 image):

FlashPaper 85 kb
Print2Flash 184 kb
