Hello,
I want my clients to be able to reduce the height of the pub, but not able to increase or reduce height or width. I set the pub property to resizable border, and the chapter property to "Pages Can Be Resized Vertically" with a max height of 450.

But the max height setting has no effect. The pub can be resized vertically and horizontally to any size.

Anyone know what's going on?

Hi Mike,

I'm wondering whether you are confusing window resizng with page resizing. If you set the min / max options in the general properties of the chapter tab then this stops the PAGE being scaled once the window it is in reaches a specific size.

See the example attached. The WINDOW can be scaled to any size (you can't control the min and max for this) but the page will stop scaling the two objects (and hence the page) once it reaches 400 x 400 or 800 by 800 INSTEAD because the page is now bigger than the window, the scrollbars are automatically added.

This is a little confusing, because you'd expect the the actual window to stop resizing once it hits a the min / max values and it doesn't.
