Robbee

I don't know how to do this, but I think I recall post on this or similar topics.

Try searching the current forums, and the archived forums to see if you can find something that might help you.

Hi Robbie and welcome to Opus,

If you want the image to move when clicking a button (such as a scrollbar) you could use the move action from under animation however, this might be a little bit jump if you want a smooth scroll. In which case I use the setposition command in a script.

Let us know.

what i need is to be able to insert pics into text - so it appears just like a book - then when the student scrolls with the scroll bar it all moves together
just like a web page

Put separate text and image objects into a frame then add the scrollbar to the frame, rather than the text.
See the attached for an example.

Hi Robbie,

Using Duncan's example. Delete the Instructions Text Box. Then stretch the frame holding the first set of pictures (The Frame's called Vertical). Draw a new text box inside this frame and add your text. It will the scroll alongside the picture.

That was just a general example - you can put any items you want inside the scrolled frame.
I've updated the example with some text to show this.

you can use Adobe Flashpaper in an Opus browser window - this is useful if your source material is already published in some other electronic media.
You can also set up the browser window border so it conceals the 'print' or 'open in new window' buttons if you wish.
It's not very expensive and can be used to create PDFs as well.

Duncan - can you confirm please that this does not work with Flex. That's how it appears to me.
