Good morning all

Opus Pro 05. I posted an enquiry on Friday about doing date calculations. The example that was posted back to me works but not in my case (I think). I tried to understand the scripting, but it just goes over my head. Maybe my first posting was a little confusing, but I don't want to click a calender to get the answer I'm looking for.

I have a variable <SYSTEM_DATE_FULL> Read from the systems current date. I have another variable lets say <DUE_DATE> which is a date that has been stored in a .txt file. When I open the page or click a button I need the calculation to take place and store the answer in a separate variable <DAYS> on that page.

I would really appreciate it if someone can solve my problem. I'm not familiar with scripting.
Best wishes :) :(

Hi,
How are you going to insert the date in your program. It Is it through a calender (automatically) or manually. If it's manually wether it be full like
Wed Feb 6 2008 15:28:40 or 2/6/2008 or 6/2/2008.
It's important for me to help you to know these details.

Thank You, Thank you, Thank You.

I would really like to express my thanks to opuslover, Sandy and Mackavi for your involvement in helping me to work out the date calculation. I'm off to Venice for the weekend for my 6th wedding anniversary and my mind is now at ease.

I can now get on with my project and hopefully assist you all one day.

Best wishes
Ryk Melck
