Hi Joe,

What a wonderful solution :-) and somebody that uses the Debug.trace command :-) :-)

The idea works well and if it meets your need then there is little you need to do. I've changed the code slightly as your arrays and listbox where not zero indexed and clicking outside the listbox range caused an error.

Thanks Mack,

As yes some error checking is all good to add. I was using the code to pull data from DB and then inserting it at end.

Debug.trace, oh yeah, one of the most useful pieces of code in Opus. Opus really is a super powerful tool.

Interesting topic and good thoughtful examples shown.
Just a word on cloning -- there are very few times that cloning is essential.
The easiest way is to park any extra objects you require off screen and pull them in when you need them.

cheers
Paul

For those with a memory like mine - you need to hold the CTRL key down whilst dragging an object outside a frame or off a page.

Hello Paul,

Clone is ideal for this example as you can now use an external text file or database to get data and display in text box with tick boxes. Using the clone function does not limit the number of items in the scrollbar, which would happen if the objects are just off screen.
