Mohammed --

The current version 6 of OPUS has been out for months, so you need to upgrade from version 5.5. You will love the improvements.

I've built several multiple language Publications using OPUS. When the first Page appears, I have Buttons for each language I support. The English Button sets my <Language> variable to "1". French Button sets it to "2", etc.

Each Publication Page contains Hidden Text Objects with the different languages in different Layers. I have an "On Show" Object for each Page which checks which language was requested (1, 2, 3), then it displays the English (1) , French (2) , or German (3) text. Using OPUS Layers, I found to be easier than building separate Chapters for each language. Maintenance is a snap.

BTW: The upcoming version of Director will also support Unicode. A long period of suffering will then be over :D

The new version of Director 11 was released last week. Unicode support does not work right to left, and most 3rd party Xtras will need updating.
There are a few frustrated people trying to upgrade older pubs using D11, including me.
This is the wrong place to discuss Director, so I'll say no more about it.
