I've been meaning to post something about MS OneNote, but kept putting it off until now. I recently was 'stuck' trying to populate an array, and I remember there were a couple posts about using a string and the 'split' character.
I had previous copied the forum's example and its Syntax and kept it in OneNote. A quick search on 'array' found my 10 or so pages, and I had my info quickly.
What I have found even more useful and valuable is to capture just a small area of the Trigger/Action set-up I am playing with... and then adding text notes in OneNote to remind myself of 'dependencies' or 'what worked/didn't_work', etc. Same thing with capturing a snapshot of Organizer objects... a great reminder "oh yes, that Timer work was in a pub named _______". And there are automatic data/time stamps.
It's also useful for keeping snippets of Script code, or a partial screen-capture of the script editor with the Organizer Pages and Objects in view on the sideline. That provides a quick association for me... what's in code and a hint of what Objects are involved. Of course, screen clips of layout of Page/Objects... in editor or in Preview.
For those a little more organized, I'm sure this would be a great tool to document a complete project (for yourself)... to complement Opus' built-in notes and exported info. OneNote Folders & Tabs can be added/expanded.
Now I'm not a big promoter of microsoft, but not a basher either. And I still use PrintScreen and IrfanView to get 'good graphic manipulation'.
