Hi

I am trying to script a way for the end-user in runtime to be able to connect any 2 drag and dropped objects, using a line. The end-user can move the objects, via drag and drop. I am trying to add a feature allowing them to first click on one object, then on the second object to which they want to have the line drawn to. Then, this would cause a line to display connecting the 2 objects.

I'm not sure if this is possible using OpusScript/JavaScript. I'm hoping someone can suggest a way to do this.

Kind Regards,

Stephen,

Last year, around this time, I was trying to do something very similar but was told this was not possible.

See:

viewtopic.php?t=1183&highlight=lines

I never followed up on the scaling/rotate idea, also posted, but would be interested if you solve this problem

Regards

Clive

Hi Clive

It appears that Paul in NZ had some ideas at the time of the old posting. Since pm is disabled and no way to get this posting to him, I'll go to the old posting you've referenced and see if he responds with work-a-rounds.

Thanks for the lead. Will keep you in the loop if any solutions are found.

Kind Regards,

Although PM has been disabled, my email address is always in my profile.
I delete all email from free email accounts like Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo and other throwaway addresses -- so if you wish to contact me use a real one :)

cheers
Paul

Must have had an expiration date on it.

I was thinking to send you the sqlite 'wrapper' scripts and demo pub, but alas no email. Currently I cannot post an attachment on the board.
