A prospect wants a basic "audio book" with occasional images. While Video Objects have a "Pause" option, it appears you can only Pause an audio file using a Script. I tried using a WMA file within a Video Object (since that's one of the possible file extensions using the OPUS Browser). You can hear the WMA file within the Properties "Preview", but it doesn't work anyother way (Autostart, or with a Button with a Play Action).

I would like to have a Pause audio (MP3, WAV, WMA) option added to the Audio/Video section.

Hi Fred,

The video will play and pause both WMA and MP3 files but you need to set the video type to on top.

Mac --

Thanks!!! Yes, even though it's NOT listed as a File.Type, MP3 will work IF you make the Video Object "On Top" (which uses the Windows Media Player rather than OPUS's video player). What a "nasty" work-around. We shouldn't have to "play" with this to get a simple Audio File to Play and Pause. That's probably one of the MOST used requirements in any true multimedia presentation. I've been using OPUS for years, and I had forgotten how this worked.

If it's that simple, then DW needs to set up Audio Play and Audio Pause as listed options (and NOT make people have to experiment to get something so basic available).
