Opus: Opus Pro 7.5
OS: Windows 7 32 bit on BootCamp
System: MacBook Pro, 3 GBytes RAM, Core2Duo T8300@2.4 GHz,
Hi all,

I am having problems with web sites I created using the Flash export function of Opus.
Sites such as: www.giannousi-dance.gr work for some users but for others do not. I suspect that it has to do with the Flash plugin version of the browsers.
(The sites are an index page with a Flash file which contains the whole site).

Does anyone know if the latest Flash plugins by Adobe have problems with Opus Pro version 5?
Any other ideas?

Your help is mostly appreciated.

Best regards

Dennis Zervas

Dennis --

I had no problem viewing your website (other than I can't read your language - LOL).

I'd like to make a helpful suggestion for anytime you use a scrolling text object. Under Properties for the Text Object, go to the tab called "Text." On the left side, tick the option "Do not display partial lines." Also, for the Margins section, change the default "4" to "10" on the Top and Bottom margins. I'm making this suggestion because it appears your letters are being cutoff. It could be I just don't recognize your alphabet, but I suspect it will look better, without any "clipping" if you follow my suggestions.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Since the introduction of flash player 10 you will have to republish any flex swf projects - with the latest version of Opus.

Thanks to all for your answers which helped me to identify the problem.

Pete, are you suggesting that I should upgrade to version 6?
My thought is that Opus V6 was launched long before flash 10 was released, how can I confirm that I will solve the problem?

Many thanks

Dennis

Download the demo - but I was under the impression that the patch released by DW fixed 5.5 as well - see here:

Version 6.0 still had the problem. I think v 6.3 contains the fix for flex pubs to work under flash player 10
6.4 came out after flash player 10

As posted above

This link contains a fix for you to republish all your flex swfs to work with flash 10

Hope this helps
