I remember in an earlier edition of opus you could "resize" the width of scroll bars - Obviously nothing has changed regarding the length or the colour scheme - but on some projects. Id like to make it either "more slender " or "thicker" - I cant seem to do this with Opus 6.0

With earlier versions ( like 4.5 I think) it was a simple case of left mouse and "drag" the bar to the desired width.

How is this achieved these days?

Cheers :)

Rick,

I agree with you regarding the aesthetics.

When I've done this resizing before, mostly it was 'simple' as you've said. I did find a few instances lately where I too seemed 'thwarted'. Some observations of what might work/be_happening:
-- normally, should work fine if scrollbar is on a TextObject which is on a Page.
-- simply Grap the middle LEFT handle and drag it horizontally to the right. The key here is 'what is selected object?'. Over in the Organizer, make sure it is "scrollbar_xx" and not the 'Thumb'

-- if you are using a Frame to contain the TextObject, it is possible the frame will constrain some things... but then again I've done it there too and it's fine.
-- of course Permissions and Locks will prevent certain manipulations.

While you're at it, experiment with applying Textures to the scrollbar and its 'pieces'.
