Opus Flex CD on Mac

I'm planning what is basically an mp3 CD with an index page made with Opus Flex embedded in an htm page. Knowing practically nothing about Apple Mac computers I'd be grateful for advice on what can and cannot be done. I don't really want to get into all that hybrid CD mallarky unless strictly necessary.

If I burn a standard ISO-9660 CD in Windows ensuring that file names are no longer than 8+3 will a Mac user be able to play it?

The CD will consist of an htm file and an swf (made with Flex) and several mp3s.

I do know that this has come up several times in the past. Look for the link to the old message boards and do a search there. I know this has been addressed there.

First thing I tried before posting (as always). Can't find what I need using the many search terms I tried. Perhaps I'm just searching for the wrong words or perhaps some messages were lost when the board collapsed a while back.

I know there are all sorts of fancy bits of software out there to help me burn a hybrid CD but I do not want to go down that route. I'm trying to keep things simple. Most of my users are Windows people; I'm just trying to cater to a handful of Mac users by filling a CD with mp3s and creating a menu in htm/swf using Opus Flex.

Mac systems should therefore be able to read ISO 9660 discs which contain files named in the MS-DOS 8.3 format. However, for maximum compatibility, it is recommended that you produce a hybrid CD containing an ISO 9660 part (for PC recognition) and HFS part (for Mac systems).

Please also note that Mac OSX does not support autorun, so your users will need to manually launch the HTML file on the CD regardless of how the data has been written.
