Hi,
Thank you for your enquiry.
The Roxio Toast support site (
http://www.roxio.com/en/support/toast/toasthybrid.jhtml) states the following:
Roxio wrote:
Although Macs can read ISO 9660 discs, without the free Joliet extension from Thomas Tempelmann they will only see the ancient MS-DOS 8.3 filename. Even when possible, it isn't easy for PCs and Unix machines to read Mac CD-ROMs. But a hybrid disc shows up Mac in Macintosh computers, and ISO 9660 in everything else.
Mac systems
should therefore be able to read ISO 9660 discs which contain files named in the MS-DOS 8.3 format. However, for maximum compatibility, it is recommended that you produce a hybrid CD containing an ISO 9660 part (for PC recognition) and HFS part (for Mac systems).
Please also note that Mac OSX does not support autorun, so your users will need to manually launch the HTML file on the CD regardless of how the data has been written.
I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.
Kind regards,
