Hi,
I created a pub with a lot of mpeg1-videos (not to big), which I tested on various machines (xp and vista of different ages and configurations). There it ran well, so I exported it to standalone-dvd. So far no problems for a long time.
But recently I encountered XP-machines on which the pub freezes when opening a page with embedded video. I just get an hourglass and nothing happens. After minutes of dumb staring I have to close the pub with a crtl-alt-del
I use no transitions of any sort, so it can't be a directX-conflict, but a tiny, nagging voice in the back of my head keeps saying it is. Sound (mp3) works fine by the way.
Has anyone ever met with the same problem?

Regards,

Ad

Hello Ad,

I had the same problem a while ago.
I solved the problem by copying the videofiles to the internal HD of the computer.
As a stand alone application maybe it's not possible, but when you use the distribution wizard it can help you putting files in the right folder.

Succes,

Ok. Thanks.
I'll try that first.
