Just wondering.
Is there a way to include graphs in a presentation that is based on database contents?

Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I believe that you understand that a database is just a bunch of spreadsheet like one you create in excel and this is the reason of you can import or export from and to excel.

Having say that, the answer to your question is yes, you can produce charts from databases (spreadsheets) using products like:

1-Swiff chart Pro: http://www.globfx.com/products/swfchart/

2-Xcelsious: http://www.infommersion.com/products.html

But not directly from Opus (as far as I know, but I could be wrong!)

Both of these programs will let you create espectacular graphics from excel spreadsheets. The output file is a swf (flash file) so it can be imported into Opus or presented in a html page and then this page imported into a browser field inside Opus.

Xcelsious is my choice but it is expensive. Swiff Chart Pro would do much of your dynamic graphic work...

Depending of what you want to do you can purchase the simple version of each one of these applications but if you need to use php or need online live update of the graphics even when you are embeding them into Opus then I will strongly recommend you to buy the professional version of either one of them.

I use them all the time in my work and my clients are fully satisfied. The hybrid of Opus and the swf files from these applications work without any problems. I'll see if I can post an example sometimes tomorrow....

I hope this helps
