I am using the launch a File feature from with OPUS and getting a weird response . It seems to happen mostly with bigger programs like games and a few others.....

If you run big games like ( World of War craft Or EE / AOE try and tstart it from a simple pub that launchs the EXE file for the game . What will probably happen is that you will recieve an error and the game will close.....

I have tried setting the PUB to close ( or minimise) upon starting thiese programs and still NO Success .A buddy of mine says its an MEMORY error , he suggestes that maybe OPUS is trying to start these programs from WITHIN Itslef and thats why its having a problem.....

Now if I click the game icon it runs fine...if i use the run command , it runs fine........so i must admit it seems that OPUS sharing some rsources that deal with startup ...

If any of you guys gals are also gamers , try starting your games from a PUB with a Launch File cmd...

Al

Try running a bat file so in notepad create a wow.bat file with the following lines, directories will need to be changed.

@echo off
cd C:Program Files\WOW\
start wow.exe

Now launch this file from Opus.
