Hello to you all,

I made a pub where the user needs to enter some information. One of the
variables he or she must fill in is his or her name.
For some reason i will use that name as the filename when they save the list with information they enter.
Yes... ofcourse they can type there name, but is it possible to use the variable as filename... thats looks more professional?

Thanks,

Marian

I've just tried this myself because I was curious, but it is possible and very easy.
I presume you're using the 'Write to Disk File' action to save the variable (Though I'm sure it'll work with 'Write text to File' too). All you do is instead of giving the file a path and filename such as 'C:\filename.txt'. You replace the filename with the variable name, for e.g. 'C:\<firstname>.txt'.
This would work with multiple variables too like 'C:\<SYSTEM_DATE_FULL> - <firstname> <surname>.txt'.

Hope this helps. :3

Thanks, i'll give it a try, and when you have an example .IMP it's welcome.
