 Post subject: Making a Browser for Vista head ache

Hi All,

I have a browser and it works fin in XP but on my friends Vista machine it just chokes . Has anyone run a home made browser from opus in Vista and had it function properly ?????


Or does Vista security lock it out because its not Microsoft Licensed LOL

Hi Al,

Somewhere around here in one of these posts, is the discussion about the new security with regards to IE. It exists under XP's version but is only enforced by Vista / W7.

It has something to do with the rights of the host program (Opus) calling the IE engine but it's late and it's been a long day, so that might not be exact. I can't remember whether there was a solution, but if you can find the post it might explain more (clearly).

I figured it was a Run Only what you Pay for issue with digital rights...i will research more..
