Is this a known issue?

Setting a disabled state on text input objects (for example border or background) causes the object not to function when published to flex. (i.e. you can't click in the text input box to type there).

Also applying the disable action to such a text input box seems to cause it to become active rather than disabled, but with the appearance properties for the disabled state showing.

None of this is apparent in the preview--only when published.
