Paul,

The downloads on our site are normally packed with 7Zip. It's really is a great alternative to winzip or winrar and it's free. If you don't want to install it, head over to portable apps and use the standalone version.

This why it helps to be clear about the idea :-)

The quick and dirty solution is to decrement 'a' and the length of yArray by one if the conditional statement is false.

But I can foresee problems depending on where you're going with this!

Hi Mack

I have been pursuing a different approach(chiefly because I cant get my head around arrays yet although you have given me an insight to them) and this seems to work. It probably isnt the best solution in the world of script but Im sort of proud of myself. The name/s have already been placed in the texbox TextName. So next name...

var Char1=varName.length
var Char=TextName.FindText(varName,0)
var Char2=Char+Char1

TextName.SetSelection(Char,Char2);
TextName.ReplaceSelection("");

Whats your thoughts Mack?
I can understand this code and now think Im on a roll.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Mack

Just want to thank you for your time and efforts, very much appreciated.
Hopfully down the line I can pay that back(and all the other help I have obtained on this forum) by helping others.
Keep the good work up.

Cheers
Paul
