Hi,

Does anybody know if it's possible to add a pan function for audio? a script or something?

I am working on a small game for blind kids, and therefor it should be welcome if i can make a difference between right and left.

Kind regards,

Ad

Hi,
Very interesting question friend
Answers I think you find the good in the dll control (If the application will run under Windows)
I know very little about it, but surely there are people who know how to do..
Anyway, a simple trick is to prepare two different audio files with the balance "all right" and "all left", and call at your convenience

Thanks for your reaction. Your suggestion about the 2 files all left / right is what i did befor, but it should be easier to have something like a "near" fuction like in the game engine from Blender 3D and other game engines.
When an object is near a defined object it looks at the stereo spectrum where the object is.
Maybe in Opus 7...?

Kind regards,

Flash Player 5 and above supports setPan, getPan, setTransform, get and setVolume for the sound object. I don't have Opus 7 yet -so I'm not sure exactly where you would put the script. The trigger can be just about anything you like
Guess that you have the choice between stand alone Flex or doc view in an Opus pub. Good Luck

Ken
